A pituitary gland MRI is indicated for hormonal imbalances, suspected pituitary tumors, and neurological symptoms like headaches and vision problems. Common reasons include evaluating conditions like acromegaly, Cushing's disease, and infertility, as well as assessing known pituitary masses or incidentalomas found on other scans. Neurological and visual symptoms - Chronic, unexplained headaches
